May I suggest you don't install iconoclasm 1.4.1? DFU restore, jailbreak, and DON'T restore from backup, but set up the iPod as if it was a new device.

Cant even DFU it man, it turns right back on the second you turn it off.

i might want to email the developer of iconoclasm, just to let him know this happened.

If it's turning on right away, you're not doing it right. I suggest you follow the instructions that DFU Helper scripts give, and make sure you're actually counting like 'one-onethousand, two-onethousand', etc.

    so its like
    1. hold both buttoons untill it turns off
    2. keep holding both untill the apple logo shows up
    3. release the power button and keep holding the home button
    right?

DFU is hard programmed in. It will always work if you do it right.
