I think they have to analyze the new Firmware before jailbreaking it.... Also remember, 1.1.2 couldn't be jailbreaked using a one step solution. So i hope, that i can get all the new features on my 1.1.2 without updating and giving away 20$..

The touch already costed me 399$, I don't want to pay 20$ more to have basic features that I already have !

More reason than ever to know that the main sell of the ipod touch, the software updates was a load of crap. All of the so called $20 upgrade can be gotten for free if you jailbreak. Again what a load of crap

I lost a lot of respect for Jobs and his decision to charge EXISTING users a $20 fee for upgrading.
Those applications are available for FREE thanks to awesome people and their hacks. Dumb move to charge for that sh*t. They already have the apps and language in place, it was just a matter of adding it to the firmware.

You're right, and wouldn't be to surprised if that this might take some time. On the iPhone front there dealing with the 4.6 bootloader since more then a month - Cat and mouse game is getting tougher

    Open iTunes click:

EDIT >>> PREFERENCES >>> GENERAL TAB

Uncheck the "Automatically Check For Updates" box.
