I got water on my iPod touch screen!

    hi everyone,I recently got a small amount of water on the screen of my iPod touch but did not drop it into any water. Can a small amount of water to the sceen mess up your iPod touch in any way?please help because I am freaking out.

    Not unless the water actually got inside the iPod. If you're not sure you're better off turning it off immediately and putting it in rice for a few days.

    yea I mean I don't see any problems but I paid so much for it. Do people use a type of water based substance to clean the screen?because I didn't spill a lot and I wiped it all of right away so....

    I used rubbing alcohol to clean all of my electronics.

    If it's only a little on the screen and it didn't leak into the iPod (I doubt that though) then wipe it off and continue life. If it did get in, do what S.I.D. CrAzY said above.

    lol water dosnt bother me, lm walking home from school and its raining and it dosnt bother me at all it still works fine ;P,i just make sure it dosnt go in the usb or headphone slots and im fine

    nope it can't...

    i am certain because my grandma dribbled over my iPod Touch. Her saliva was stuck in the screen for weeks. There was a dark patch in the corners.

    Whenever there's water on a screen, never wipe it.
    Let the tissue/or whatever, suck up the water.

    That's what i do though...
