...now how can I jailbreak on a mac? yes I tried searching, but none of those methods worked. Especially considering my mac unzipped the 1.1.1 firmware file for me =[. or can someone just give me the 1.1.1 firmware and tell me how i can make it so my mac doesn;'t unzip it?

need to jailbreak at 1.1.1 before you jailbreak 1.1.2

there is some prep you need to do at 1.1.1 for 1.1.2

1.1.1 jailbreak =Iphone/ Ipod Touch= Super easy jailbreak. If your on 1.1.1 go to the website Jailbreakme.com on your Iphone/ Ipod Touch and scroll to the bottom, click install appsnap. Done

now clink link below to update to 1.1.2

you need to prep the 1.1.1 for the update by installing Oktoprep to the 1.1.1
    before updating to 1.1.2

downgrade to 1.1.1 jailbreak then add Oktoprep update to 1.1.2 and jailbreak again

following steps in post i gave you before

If you are using Safari to download: open Safari preferences/general tab and uncheck the box "open safe files..."
