When i got my ipod on the 25th of sep i thought it was alright then i seen

alot of white dead pixels looked very bad had to send it back to apple waited

3 weeks for them to replace it i just got the replacement on th 24th of oct and

it has a big dead green pixel also there seems to be some big problem with wifi

and the battery only last for like a hour while using wifi also so i now have to

have apple send me a new ipod touch for the 3rd time which is very sad and

doesn't say much for the people who should keep a eye on these kind of things

i am a watchmaker and i always have to make sure the watch is perfect and

and running before i hand it back and yet apple tells me they dont know if

this one will be ok or not once again very sad i hope it will be fine or i will

have some thinking to do, does anyone have a idea of what i should do or

say if this 3rd replacement would be a bad apple also?

Wow! you are very unlucky since i have not heard of many defective touches (besides negative effect which is taken care of). When you get your touch it will most likely be good to go this time but if not just take it to the apple store and they should be able to exchange it for a good one.

Man... Im in the excact same place as you are at..
My first touch (W38) was bad, defective screen and many dead pixels, so I got a replacement in my mailbox. W39.. and guess what.. It has a big white deadpixel in mittle of screen that really bothers me alot! I would say okey to small dead pixels maybe near the bottom or the sides.. But this one is almost in mittle andf really bothers me..

Now I probably must claim a new one, again, from apple...

I bought my first Ipot a week after its release at Walmart. After a week of use without jailbraking it, it started to freeze. Multiple restoring did not fix it. Returned it for a complete refund. It was a week 38 model.
I bought a second one at Circuit city and was a week 41 model. No problems since and works well with the new apps!
