It happens when I scroll through the pages or play racing games. I don't use headphones when this happens. Has anyone experienced the same thing? I noticed that I'm prone to motion sickness when traveling so It's probably just me. It's very strange because even if I just played a few minutes on my ipod, I've been feeling lousy for the past 2 days. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

in the manual it says that motion sickness may occur during ipod use and it might be more noticeable because you are feeling lousy

I wasn't travelling when this happened. I just mentioned travelling because I'm just a person who is more prone to motion sickness.

I tried googling it and I didn't find anything. This sucks because I was really looking forward to using my ipod and I just bought it. It's just that everytime I look at the screen when I'm scrolling, I just feel dizzy. I noticed the same thing with Zune as well. With other mp3s where the titles of the songs stay put and only the selector moves around, I don't have any problem.

It sounds like you have motion sickness. Some people are just hyper-sensitive to fast movements that happen over a period of time. Car sickness is one way it presents itself. Some people may get it with video games, watching small screens, or even TV.

Have you ever experienced this with anything other than traveling in a car? Do you have any trouble with your eyesight? Sometimes nearsightedness or farsightedness can exacerbate motion sickness - especially if it's not treated with the proper lenses for glasses or the correct contacts.

That's strange. When I play certain first person shooters for a while I get dizzy, but my iPod Touch has never given me that problem. Just take a break after using your ipod after a while and it should go away. I can't think of any permanent ways of preventing it, just taking breaks every once in a while.
