Today i found this brand new i-FunBox-Tool for PC only on the web, allowing you to use your iPhone/iPod touch as a mobile hdd. You get access to all the files stored on your iPod touch. It is a rather interesting program because you don't need to configure things like WinSCP, and it is moreover much faster (~ 6 MiB/s) than a SSH-connection.

And the best thing: It's free and you don't even have to install it (just doubleclick the .exe)!!! Downloadable at http://i-funbox.com/

I tried it out and was stunned! This makes so much things a lot easier

(It should also displace this tool http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68998 because you're now able to attain all the files on your touch, which DiskAid doesn't allow...)

Edit: Sorry guys, I now saw that there is already a thread dealing with i-FunBox

Yeah, i also mentioned that in my upper post, but here the file transfer is about 15 times faster, and you don't have to care for so many settings.

USB. Just download and try it... You don't have to install, can be deleted always directly...

    It sure can! Enjoy!

Note there is also another similar program I have discovered called DiskAid that has both PC and Mac versions.
