But I want to be able to share my folders between the two...

And I can't seem to because after I formatted the Boot Camp partition to NTFS, it removed the changeable icon on my Mac's desktop.

    Has anyone managed it?

Windows 7 said it had to be in a NTFS format for me :/ I think you can do the file swapping thing if it's a FAT32? I am not sure, don't trust me at this moment

Mac OS X can drag and drop files on the Windows partition via MacFUSE, which is a Free download.

Windows needs a shareware app called MacDrive, which isn't available for Windows 7 right now.1

If you are using VMware it works fine after you install Vmware Tools. You can drag and drop and pick any folder to share.

Actually, Leopard has built in NTFS drive support, although it's read only.

Maybe this won't work.. but try running the MacDrive Installer in Vista RTM Compatibility Mode.

MacFUSE allows write also. As do NTFS-3G (Freeware) and NTFS for Mac OS X (Shareware)
