So, I went to put it into DFU mode, and it wouldn't, but it gave me a "connect to itunes" symbol. When I did, it came up saying it found an iPod Touch in recovery mode, and to restore it. So I did that. I got a 1604 error, and I had to try again, since it gave me the symbol again. It didn't work. I downloaded ZiPhone, because it has a utility on it to reset everything, fix baseband and bootloader, etc... I did that, and now when I turn on my iPod, it gives me the Apple logo, and then it goes into a command line looking thing, and it gets stuck on "BSD tool: md0, major 2, minor 2". Now iTunes doesn't recognize that it's even connected.

Do you know what happened, or how to fix it?
Should I send it back to Apple, and what should I tell them if I do?

    HELP!

    Thanks!

It won't go back into restore mode, like it says.

EDIT: I got it into restore mode, but I only got another 1604 error.
