I tried to see if I could get some videos from my friends computer onto my touch.
It worked, but when i tried to reconnect to his computer to charge my ipod, all my music, videos, podcasts, and everything else showed up as OTHER.

So all the media is there but I just can't access it to delete it. I tried to delete it through itunes but that didn't work.

If there's any way to delete music through SFTP, I would appreciate if someone told me.

If anyone has any type of advice, I could definitley use it.

    Thanks

P.S. Sorry if this thread is in the wrong category.

I'm guessing that you used SwapTunes?

The program moves all of you files from Music/Video/ etc. to Other, so that you can sync with another computer.

Just use the program again, and you should have all of your stuff back.

I just connected my touch with my friends computer just to see if I could get his media onto my touch. It worked for a little while, but then it listed all my media as other when i tried to reconnect.

Could I still use that program to fix it if I didn't use it intially?

    Thanks

Well.. if your a brave person...

SSH to your iPod and go to your media folder.

There should be a music or video or something like that in there. Try deleting the files in there...

    Or... Restore you iPod.

    Restore It!

Just restore it and you'll be fine
