Many of my songs have long names and I can't see the full name. Sometimes landscape mode helps, but not always. Is there another way to see the full name of the song?

The only solution that I can think of would be to rename the songs so that they fit or abbreviate them.

I tried that but to no avail. I added a "1", "2", "3" in front of different tracks in the same album/audio books and re-synced my ipod but apparently the songs still appear as the same previous name on the ipod? Do you know why the ipod wouldn't change the name? Is there something wrong that I am doing?

Well, I'd try to completely remove all the songs from your iPod, then manually click-drag songs across and see if that makes a difference?

Apple need to fix this. They need to add a feature where if the title is long it will automatically scroll.

That worked, thanks! But to imagine doing that (changing names) for my entire music library sounds painful. Apple does need to fix this silly problem.

They can't really do this, unless they have like every song automatically scroll if they're long, but that may cause some lag.
