I can't make the unlimit space on Installer.app

    I can't make the unlimit space on Installer.app

    When I type

    mv /Applications /private/var/Applications

    I get message 'Server returned error'.

    I use GlobalSCAPE Cute FTP 8.0

    Thanks for any helps.

    you shouldn't do this with a ftp program!

    try using putty dude.

    so how can we do this exctly for non showhin up the message "u are running out of free space"?

    if you're on windows use winscp and paste the commands in the command editor. and done you are.

    yeah cause i use filezilla and dont know how to do that

    firstly, use a proper SSH tool like WinSCP (for windows). if you're in WinSCP and connected to your ipod touch, just right-click in the remote (ipod touch) window and chose commands or execute. if it says it needs to open another terminal session, say yes and wait.

    when open terminal it say

    Connection has been unexpectedly closed.Server sent command exit status 127.

    did you jailbreak your ipod touch first? if yes, have you ever been able to connect to your touch using winscp, just not the 2nd terminal session?

    I've been. I can connect to my iPod touch with WinSCP.
