    Hello,
I couldn't download the 2.2.1 firmware from iTunes (because of regular connexion problem), so I downloaded it from that site : <REDACTED>

Now, the firmware is placed in my documents (I have Windows Vista) and is called iPod2,1_2.2.1_5H11a_Restore.ipsw; but I don't know how to install it on my iPod Touch 2G...

    Can someone please help me?

Hold shift and click ''restore'' in iTunes. Than browse your iPod2,1_2.2.1_5H11a_Restore.ipsw.

If I restore my iPod, what will happen? Will all my songs, videos, photos and apps still be there or will I have to put them on my iPod again, as if my iPod was new?
By the way, thanks for answering

depends on the size of the files you put into your iPod. it won't take long IMO.
