so whenever i touch (and hold) my cydia icon (2nd from the right on a 5 icon dock), i get these weird glitchy red/yellow lines/blocks that pop up over the left side of my dock until the wiggly-icon mode comes in

anyone else get this/know how to fix it

can't get a screenshot 'cos it goes away when i hit the home button but it's a big black block covering my lefternmost dock icon with some weird red and yellow lines around that

edit: so if i move my cydia icon to the far left spot, it still works with cydia and not with icy. so it's a problem with my cydia icon (or most likely cydia itself, not the actual icon)

to screenshot press the power first then home, so it wont go away...

And does it only happen on the dock? and is the badge active?

^hm yes good idea there, it's to do with the badge; if i touch rolando when it has a badge up it does it as well (to the lefternmost dock icon)

i still can't manage to screen shot it though, it goes away the second i touch the home button

usually it's just a normal 5 icon dock

it mostly happens when i touch my badge, btw. and it's a normal badge image, nothin' wrong with it

    it's covered up

that's the point it doesn't look like 5 icons 'cos my badge is screwed up

i touched the badge to make it do that

and i couldn't hold it far out 'cos i had to use extremely great timing skills for that

my dock normally looks like this

    ok.

    Well.. thats really odd...

    Suggestions:
Force it into Safe Mode (SBsettings can do it)
    Change themes a few times
    Reboot iPod?
    And of course, restore.
