i updated to ios 4.0 on my ipod touch 2g 32gb early MB model using redsnow. i didnt really like it so i wanted to downgrade back to 3.1.2. i tried putting it into DFU mode but it just wont go, yet when i did it with redsnow it happens the first time (ive tried about 3 times and done it)

when i try to restore to 3.1.2 it comes up with an error code 3194 and doesnt downgrade.

when i upgraded i have obviously backed up my ipod but it said the backup was interuppted and doesnt restore everything.

how can i get back to 3.1.2 or at least 3.1.3 =[

BTW i have my shsh blobs if its necessary

Save SHSH blobs for 3.1.2 make your you have them save or this won't work edit your host file after blobs are saved string some code onto the end of the file then try restoring. Other that apple has denied build request and stopped signing this firmware. Without blobs you cannot downgrade.
