I can't downgrade from 1.1.3

    I'm no noob but when I went to downgrade after it was done it said there was an error and made me go back to 1.1.3 so if anyone can help me I thank you

    make sure you got the iPod firmware and not the iPhone, if that don't fix it try reinstalling iTunes (7.5 recommended) and if no joy yet, try another PC. This helped me.

    Put your iPod into restore mode.
    Hold the home and sleep buttons for 25 seconds until you get the iTunes screen.

    Get iTunes 7.5

    Go here and download iPod Touch firmware to somewhere you will remember in your computer, 1.1.1 if you want to jailbreak again

    Connect your iPod to iTunes

    Hold the sleep and home buttons

    Let go of the sleep button when the iPod icon in iTunes disappears

    Let go of the home button when the iPod icon appears back in iTunes

    Shift restore to that 1.1.1 firmware.

    use ipuck

    you can also use iphuck to set the phone/touch to restore mode.

    i was having the same problem and i just tried it on another computer and it worked
