    Hey guys

    I have a problem :/ Yesterday i updated some Cydia apps, then my iPod (3G, 32GB) didn't answer when i pressed buttons or anything else, so I reset my iPod with power+home button. Now... when i want to boot my iPod with blackra1n, it only shows the face of Geohot and then nothing happens. Sometimes there is a pop-up being opened by Windows which says that Windows has access to the iPod (pictures).

    iTunes does recognize the iPod, I could just restore it but I don't want to restore it because I don't want to lose my jailbreak data like many downloaded videos in YourTube. When i want to copy the data with DiskAid (sometimes DiskAid can access to the iPod), there is an error.

    Can you help me, how to fix this problem without restoring my iPod?
    =)

    By the way: My iPod has firmware 3.1.2 on it. My operating system is Windows 7 64bit.

    (Sorry, if this is bad english, but I'm from Germany)

    I don't know exactly, but I think it were about 30 or more apps because I haven't updated for a long time.
    Thank you for the quick reply. =)

    I don't think so because it were Cydia apps (like SBSettings, Backgrounder and so on) and all of them were free.

    @Emanresu: I don't want to lose my data ^^

    Restoring is probably gonna be your only option, unless you know exactly what it was that caused this. Did it crash afterward or just not reboot? I know you're use using blackra1n so..

    Nvm stupid question, did it freeze after it respringed?

    I know that a lot of new apps, (as of a couple months ago) crashed and wouldn't work on my iPod with 3.1.3. Like the new safari dl manager, or even backgrounder started acting funny until i reinstalled it. Even if just one of them was built only for ios4, It could screw up your whole system depending on what the app is.

    That's bad :/

    It did not even respring, it was just in this terminal-like thingy in Cydia and didn't do anything.

    (I probably won't be online until this evening)

    Then it might of still been installing a key system file, which the reset probably screwed up.
