I recently upgraded from 2.2.1 to 3.0 and jailbroke this on my Touch 2g; after copying my data back over I noticed that I could only view my notes not edit, create or delete them, so I copy an pasted all the info out from the my Notes and then deleted the notes.db file and copied my old one in hoping to fix the issue. BIG mistake, now I have no visible notes and can not create any, if I look at notes.db file with iFile I can see all the notes in it.

Any ideas how to fix this?

DFU + Restore back to 3.0

Set up as new iPod, and jailbreak with redsn0w 0.7.1 (not 0.7.2)

Manually sync all of your Music, Data, and Apps Back.

    Delete your backup.

DAMN, I was afraid that might be the answer.

Actually did the JB with 0.7.1, but think Chronus screwed up the restore, and yes I know Chronus is not rated for 3.0 but iTunes back takes like half a day on a 32 gig device.

For anyone who might need this info, iFunBox and/or WinSCP are great tools for quickly saving a copy of your data, just becareful putting it back.

That would be cool, I know the path /var/mobile/Library/Notes/notes.db; I do not think its stored anywhere else.
