    Hi!,

I recently bought a sound station (boxes) for my ipod touch, but when I put my ipod in it starts filling the battery also. If I use this boxes alot will it then affect the battery prestations? I heard loading up battery when it was only half full was bad.

yeh thats the problem with them, i used to have an ipod mini and the battery was rubbish in that when i first got it but i used to have it plugged into a docking speakers the whole time then when i used it for mobile use it only lasted like an hour, the only lucky thing was that ipod mini are easy to replace batteries, i would be scared to take apart an ipod touch

The iPod Touch's battery is different than most NiCa batteries. Whoever told you that charging it while half full is bad lied.

There are several threads on this already, too.

    Ok thanks.

So charging it multiple times while it is half or more full wouldn't hurt?

I changed the battery in my touch and it made me so nervous because i did it with a soldering iron instead of a pen cuz i didnt have one and that risks melting the board and the contacts for the batt i had to solder were right on the memory board. Plus you have to use a razorblade to open it cuz case opener tools just break thus damaging the sides...
