So I've been to forums before. I know how to act, respect people, etc. Therefore, I do not consider myself a noob. I AM however, a noob when it comes to iPod touches. I couldn't even figure out how to jailbreak mine.

I've had mine since Christmas like a lot of other people here. I try to keep mine as scratch-free as possible seeing as I am a total perfectionist. But today in the mail, I finally got an invisibleSHIELD. Sadly, after I installed it, I let it sit for only 3 1/2 hours before turning it on, resulting in permanent rainbow lines on the screen. Oh man, I am MAD! I simply can't let my iPod be any less perfect than the day I got it! I long for a solution! Oh, and uh... Hi.

don't you have to check a button making sure that you read the rules? and you probably cant jailbreak seeing that you're on a 2G 8GB that you received around christmas and is on 3.1.3. you may be able to downgrade however...

You don't have to actually READ them. It's just like any software you might download that comes with a ULA. (User License Agreement) Besides, I don't really feel honest Jailbreaking my iPod. I like it how it is.

If it's a 2G 8GB, it's possible to downgrade+jailbreak. The rainbow lines... I got this from another forum, where a Zagg employee answered..

lol. its not really. its best if you do read them so you don't post things or do things that get you banned. not understanding the rules is one thing, but not reading them at all is just ignorant.
