Ok got my touch today. It is the one with the update on it. I was at 1.1.3 and I updated to 1.1.4. I then followed the easy youtube instructions and did the following.
    -Restored my touch via itunes
    -ran ziphone and hit Jailbreak
-the bar fills up like normal but then another bar starts with a green thing going through it over and over. Stays like this for 10 mins now. No black letters on ipod no installer app, nothing. What am I doing wrong?

And when I click on the output log during the process, it is stuck on the "searching for iPod" part.
Also, is your ipod supposed to show up as a drive in "my computer"? Because mine is not.

Also, I have no "enable disk mode" option in itunes summary for my touch. What gives? Any help would be really appreciated. have to leave soon and was hoping to get some apps on this thing first.

it shouldnt be shown as a disk drive, and there shouldnt be a ' enable diskmode' button in itunes. apple didnt create the ipod touch to be a disk drive, that why we have to use 3rd party applications to access our ipods flash drive ( ex. ssh, totalcommander)
