    They send it back, the warranty is voided when you jailbreak, so they can't do anything.

    They will also probably take down your UDID and serial so even if you restore there going to be like, "It was jailbroken before, the warranty is voided."

    Your better off restoring.

    They can't do that. It only voids your warranty, not the ability to purchase things or do upgrades.

    yeh but it still stops you from dfuing then sending for a repair.

    Yea, they can't stop the actual DFU restore but what they will do is take down your serial and UDID so if you DO restore it and bring it back they can say the warranty was already voided and we can't do anything, and so you can't say it's a different device. Both of those are un-changeable, and unique to each device.
