    Why are they even attempting it? They are gonna be too late. It was too late beginning of this year imo. Apple and Samsung and all the others have fabulous phones. I don't see why HP is thinking this is a logical move.

    They have a good brand but the Smartphone market is getting a bit crowded. It seems everyone wants in on it. Next thing we know, Panasonic branded smartphones.

    This isn't anything new. HP bought Palm and Palm has been making smartphones for years and years now and the last phones HP released were just Palms last phones upgraded with HP branding on it.
