I am looking for a method to write Chinese on my iTouch. I have been looking around for awhile. I know there is a pogram called iCosta. But somehow I dont get it to work. I got an jailbroken iTouch with Firmware 1.1.2. Any Tips?

Maybe there is anyways another App which makes it possible to write chinese characters on the iPod Touch i dont about so far... Let me know!

add this source to your installer

    iphone.org.hk/repository.plist

then check the list, find out localization 1.1.1

install native CN ,it's work fine with 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 both ,there are 6 input mothod u can choose

suggest u : "search before post"

I have used both iCosta and NativeCN on my 1.1.2 iPod Touch.
Recently NativeCN has been updated to 2.5. I installed this update without uninstalling the older one. But when I tap the NativeCN icon on the desktop, it said that mine iPod is not the correct firmware version. So I decided to uninstall NativeCN, as I am satisfied with iCosta.
After unstalling NativeCN, I noticed that the NativeCN input method is still available, if the Japanese input keyboard is enabled. I have to disable the Japanese input keyboard to turn off NativeCN input method.
For iCosta, weiphone source should be added. It provides separate packages with different input methods to support different firmwares.
    iCosta is my favoraite.

if you want to use iCosta, add following repo to your ipod or iphone:
    http://iphone.freecoder.org/rep/

refresh and you'll see "localization", there you go.
it works on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, i'm not sure about 1.1.3.
