[NOTE]: This only work on local networks.

First Install and Configure an SSH client on your PC or MAC...

I chose WinSCP for this tutorial. Now connect into your iPod and click the "Terminal" icon.

In the command field type in reboot for respring, and reboot for rebooting (Turn off then on)...

    Please Sticky!

    Thanks,
    Grayson

    1)This should not be sticky.
2)We all knew this from the beginning.
3)And this is not clear for a sticky.
    4) this is not a tutorial

More detail is needed for a chance to be sticky. Plus other user must say it need to be sticky. You should know this by now.

    Reboot for respring? What logic?

And it does work on local networks.
    What the tutorial should say:

    1. Log into the device via its ip address (local or non) via an SCP client or terminal via SSH user:root, pass: alpine
    2. Open a terminal window in the SCP client (if you aren't already in a terminal)
    3. To reboot, type reboot. To respring, type killall SpringBoard

    Done, no BS tutorial.

Just as long as he has OpenSSH installed and didn't change his password.
