Very nice! I would have forgotten something if it wasn't for your list.

Couldn't install the Summerboard Fix tho. Main Script Execution error each time. Which I suppose isn't your fault.

main script exe error sucks. I hate when that happens. (whenever it happens to me, for some reason, SSH won't work and I have to go back to 1.1.1.

Good work on the list. And FYI, I got the script execution error as well on the SMB fix. Dont know whats up with that. Has nothing to do with the tut though.

Hang on.. the Summerboard theme fix probably looks for themes to move to the new location which is different from the one in 1,1,1 and 1,1,2. So if there are no themes to move, you would probably get an error, no?

Just so others know, one of these 2 commands screws up the ipod. When I was using the soft upgrades trying to get customize to work, one of these to commands removed a directory that caused Itunes to no longer recognize my ipod. It gave me a pairing file missing error. When I realized these commands were not needed, my ipod worked fine.

With Ziphone 2.6b and 1.1.4 JB, the only 2 commands needed to get customize to work are the following:

    ln -s /private/var/root/Library/Customize /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize

    /bin/chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

And there is nothing more to do with 1.1.4 REAL jb in order to get summerboard to work. Summerboard works fine right after install.

That's it. I've done this to my ipod, my wifes, and 4 friends all with 16g ipod's.

I had no errors as a result of running the commands. I still wish I hadn't if they may potentially screw something up down the road.

Should the dock be talked about in this thread? That is something a lot of upgraders would want to change. But is it possible at all? Or is it just the shininess that doesn't work? Grey isn't my color.

Ut's supposed to crash a few times, or so the info text says. In this process some folders are created. Or something.

Mine didn't crash the first time, but the second and third, yes. The next few times it was OK. Seems fine now.
