    (application limit guide http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1924&highlight=application limit)
Well i finally found a solution to the
    mv: /bin/: Permission denied
    mv: /bin/: terminated with 1 (non-zero) status: Cross-device link
Go into installer and go to uninstall
scroll down to system and BSD subsystem
click on BSD subsystem and click where the uninstall button is normally now is reinstall and wait for it to reinstall and the application limit commands should now work!

can someone please help me with this... i've been trying to unsuccessfully do this, but keep getting all sorts off error messages in Putty.
Maybe i am not typing the commands in correctly... is there a space between some words, or no spaces anywhere??
these are the errors i am getting when trying to type above commands in:

(with spaces) cp: invalid option -- /
    or
(without spaces) zsh: no such file or directory cp-R/Applications/private/var/Applications

    i have reinstalled BSDSystems too.

thanks, would really appreciate if anyone could help, i dont want to open a new thread unless i really have to.

Yeah, you can do it in WinSCP. Click the black box with HOM in it, near the top of the exe. This doesnt work for me either. Tried reinstalling, but it still gives me the error.

If you do not see any applications, i would suggest to double check if you followed the instructions properly.

Just go over each step and find out if you made a typo.
