HOWTO: More security with alphanumeric passcodes

    Two of our members, pignosepower240 and Avatarv, have put together a tutorial on how to set up an iPod touch or iPhone to use an arbitrary length alphanumeric password rather than a simple 4-digit PIN. While this still won't correct these devices' suspectibility to loss or theft, it should give users carrying sensitive data on the devices a bit of peace of mind. Read the tutorial.

    have to have .net framework 3.5 sp1 for windows, then u export ur profile and attach in email.

    On your tut thread you should make "no jailbreak necessary" big and in bold also mention it can be done on 2g.

    i thought obout this too
    but i was thinking that apple could put an option under the Pascode Preference Pane to choose the number of digits
