iOS 4.2 [HowTo] Fix Multitasking on Older devices!

same problem here.
after adding opengles-2 (not replacing the line of opengles-1) multitasking start to work but the white line on the edit and send button still exist.
any idea ?

I don't think we can fix it. This line changes the way graphics are displayed.
Hardkaare, are you sure your doing it right? Just copy the opengles line from above, paste it right under and change it to a 2

Thank you guys! I did it and it worked perfectly. I used WinSCP to acces through Windows and edit the .plist file.

Is it just me, or did they overhaul the multitasking system? I could barely multitask 6 apps on iOS4/4.1 and have homescreen wallpapers enabled (w/o gradients/shadows). Now I can multitask 24 apps, homescreen wallpapers (w/o gradients/shadows) with no observable lag. I noticed the weird lines in other places too (YouTube done button, pretty much every facebook landscape button), I'm going to try the tip that Kaydin pointed out.

I dont know if it's possible, but just now, multitasking doesnt work anymore!! Did it fix itself or something? Plus the lines on Messenger and YouTube (even iBooks) app are gone!! Just 5 mins ago it was working fine. Im at school so I can't edit the plist again. This is weird though.

Edit: Just got home. Yeah I edit the plist and it somehow changed it back to 1. Does iTunes do anything to the plists?

A very experienced iPhone Jailbreak developer (Don't know the proper term ) told me that you can try fixing this problem with MobileSubstrate. You'd need to hook or modify SBAppToAppTransitionView so that it isn't used on the iPod, or animates another way. I have no experience with MobileSubstrate so I can't confirm or whatever. Any thoughts?

So.. Why not take the easy way out that doesn't even need MobileSubstrate?

Because this may not have the annoying white line on the send button or done button in some apps. Plus you can create a tweak with this solution for multitasking for everyone afflicted with the said problem.
I just don't like the white line..annoying

Agreed but.. This is for older devices which do NOT need the slow down of more MS addons
