Thanks eyesonly , this link will come in handy for me, i cannot download in the firmware directly from itunes, i have a very slow connection now.. always encounter error and lost net connection, I will be using a download manager to do this.

I owned a touch with 1.1.2 and i want to upgrade it with the firmware.. any other notes on successful upgrade will be very much appreciated.

And excuse my noob... this is my first post. :)

    Thanks for the post!
I've downloaded the "iPod1,1_1.1.3_4A93_Restore.ipsw" and can't wait for the Jailbreak 1.1.3.

So what exactly is the purpose of this link? I'm correct in gathering that it is not possible to use iTunes to downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 right?

it is possible to downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 using itunes, however you need to prepare the ipod with iPhuc, there is a sticky on it somewhere. otherwise use the "worlds easiest way to downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1" tutorial, as it has been reported to work

you do not need to use iphuc ... turn off you ipod ... hold the top and bottom button together for 10 seconds .. let go of the top one after and continue to hold the bottom one for a further 10 seconds then release .. itunes will say its in restore mode ect .. hold shift and click restore and choose the .1.1.1 firmware and thats it its done !
