This tutorial is for people who want to get the worl'ds entire knowledge on your ipod without wifi access. This guide is to install Wiki2Touch on your ipod for people running fw 1.1.4.Note: This is without pictures.
    Requirements:
    -Fw 1.1.4
    -Windows OS
    -You want it in English
    -3.8gb of free space
    -Lots of time

    1) Install Total Commander with the T-pot Plugin. The Tutorial for that is here:
    http://code.google.com/p/t-pot/wiki/Installation
-Then plug your ipod in and make sure you can access it.

2)Download the Transfer Tool at the bottom of the post

3)Open up the Transfer Tool application

4)Make Sure en-english is selected under Step 1

5)Click the Box that says: Download File

6)Wait for that file to finish downloading(should take about an hour)

7)Browse and select the file u just downloaded under the Step 2 box under the Transfer Tool application

    8) Click on: Start Indexer
Make sure under the Step 3 box that Run indexer only... is selected

    9) Wait for that to finish(should take about 2hrs)

    10) Install Apache and Php under Installer on your ipod

    11) Add this source: 168weedon.com/iphone.xml

    12) Go under Temporary and install Wiki2Touch

    13) Open up Total Commander

    14) Open up your ipod on the left side of Total Commander and navigate to /var/mobile/Media/Wikipedia

15)Navigate to the folder where the archive file Transfer tool created on the right side of Total Commander

    16) Drag the archive file to the ipod on /var/mobile/Media/Wikipedia

    17) Wait for that to finish(should take about 30min)
IF Total commander says it is still at 0%, dont worry, it is transferring.
If you want to make sure ssh into your ipod and navigate to /var/mobile/Media/Wikipedia
You should see a file called archive. Keep refreshing and the file size should be increasing

    18) When that is done transferring set the permissions on the archive file

    19) Open up Wiki2Touch on your ipod

20)Make sure Enable is switched to on and that Expanded templates is turned on
    Then Close the app
    Then Reopen it
And then Turn Expanded Templates off

    21) Click on Launch Browser

    22)Thank me

IF you have any questions post here and i will try to answer them

    whoaa way too many steps

you don't need to install apache or php (atleast i didn't on 1.1.4), the transfer tool transfers it to the ipod automatically (but that doesn't work for some people), and what if they DON'T want it in english

    otherwise gud guide

edit: oh and you have to flip the Enabled switch on and off at the end or it won't work

and i dont care about the people who want it in other languages because 99% of the people on this forum speak english

Prolly not. Or the size would jump up considerably.
