You may be an idiot, but there is one thing you are not sir, and that is an idiot. Modifying the firmware to run 1.1.x on a 2G would require MASSIVE amounts of code if it was even possible. The 1.1.x firmware does not contain drivers to run the iPod touch 2G. If you did somehow make it work <sarcasm> in all your infinite glory </sarcasm> you would have no speaker, no volume rocker, no WiFi, and probably more. I'm not amazingly experienced, however I know that this would be impossible. At least without tons of amazing programmers such as the dev team working on it. What would be the point anyway? Most of the apps from 1.1.x have been ported to 2&3.x or made different. Summerboard->Winterboard and other things like that. There is absolutely no reason to spend years of your life working on an outdated firmware.

    Thank You,
    IceRayn
