Well in the UK its absolutely freezing atm so majority people are wearing gloves, if you are one of them you know how awkward it is to keep taking your gloves off to use your iDevice.

It kept really annoying me so I looked into how the touch screen registers your touch and it looked to be something like 'capacitance of your body' (your body's ability to hold an electrical charge) So I thought, how could I make the small electrical charge pass through the gloves? Well what conducts electricity? Water.

All I did was slightly lick the tip of my gloves then wipe any excess sliva on my sleeve and it worked ! Of course it eventually dried out so I had to re-lick the tip but its a easier way than taking your gloves off!

(The science behind it might be a bit wrong so don't flame me if it is, it just works)

Nice idea... Just make sure you don't use to much saliva .... I don't have to worry about gloves in summer

i've seen that but that only lets you control the Music from the lock screen, this allows you to control all of it

haha this is a much better solution than the one i was thinking of.
they make gloves specifically for the iphone or ipod touch so that you can use gloves and your idevice, but this is cheaper cause it doesnt require new gloves lol
    cool thanks

A more permanent solution is to sew conductive thread into the tip of the finger.

Or just cut a tiny whole at the tip so your skin makes direct contact with the screen, cheaper solution lol
