Okay, so if I want to keep my current number, when I receive my straight talk sim I only need to place it in the iphone call and active and port my number all at once?

They may be the unlucky ones because I'm sure I've gone over 3GB myself in my first month.
Maybe they were caught tethering or for somehow violating the agreement.

Those numbers mean nothin since you do not need to unlock your phone although it's pretty rare now since most people do update their baseband. Just stick the st sim card in the phone and they will send you a serial number to give them upon activation. If your porting your ok number give them your previous account info and your set.

Hello. I just joined the site and hopefully can get help with my dilemma. I currently have sprint and the speeds have been horrible lately. Im due for an upgrade on june 1 and i want to get the iphone 4s but i know the speed will be even worse on 3g only. I have been researching Straight Talk and see that it uses AT&T towers which i have seen gets a much better signal for data. However, it has not been made clear if i would be able to unlock my sprint 4s, order the sim online from ST and have it work on at&t towers. I have seen some videos on youtube that hint that it can be done. Someone please help me. My upgrade would only cost me 150the for the phone and then someone will be taking over my sprint plan. BUT if i cant use the sprint iphone on ST iam very tempted to order the international galaxy note. I love both phones. Any advise would be so appreciated

Check the baseband in Settings > General > About > Modem Firmware. If it is above 1.0.14, then you can't yet.

In case anyone's annoyed with Straight Talk spamming you with text messages, just reply STOP to their message.

I couldn't find how to do it on Google and found out by guessing it.

How is trait talk treating you? It seems like a pretty good alternative I have been trying to recommend to people.

it's been really good lately in my area (delaware) although I did have spotty coverage with call signal and internet on my week long travel in new jersey. other than that, i love it a lot :D
