Ah, tetherme...I must've skipped over that step when reading the instructions....thanks everybody! (I'm at work so will do it tonight.)

Do these same instructions work on a Droid? My co-worker has one and was wondering....

as long as its AT&T all you have to do is figure a way to change the APN for the phone and it will work flawlessly.. Good luck and if you need any help feel free to message me and Ill try and break it down..

I think the OP should maybe remove the whole profile thing since its not needed when you change the APN its throwing people off alot.

I'm going to leave the profile information is since there are people who prefer to not jailbreak their iPhones.

I could understand that but they still wont have the MMS fixed.... I mean if they are gonna go all out and use a iphone on a prepaid then most likely they will need to man up and jailbreak. Thats there only option as of now.

All that information is in the post. I clearly state that the profile will not get MMS to work and that a jailbreak is the easiest method to enable MMS.

Okay, I'm stuck on the tetherme part. I search for Cydia and found a site but the link to tetherme wasn't working.

I opened jailbreakme on my iPhone (it has version 4.2.1) and it says I have a version not supported.

Does anyone have a link I can use to get tetherme? (I don't mind paying a few bucks but I'm not paying $20)

Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS that you can and jailbreak using Redsn0w.

I updated the first post with new information and fewer steps.

Hmmm, so far it seems that the cap isn't 2GB anymore, (my brother is at 2.2GB without interuption on his 4s,) so it's most likely 3GB, like the AT&T unlimited plans that were recently changed to that from 2GB. Since this is an unlimited plan, it kind-of makes sense.

OR, since this is with outright SIM cards and not SIM's stolen from Nokia devices, it may not have a limit at all, or it could've been changed back to 5GB.

Who knows... The SIM's haven't been out for long, so I don't think anyone is 100% sure what the cap may even be on them yet. Maybe there's no cap at all.

I'm at 1.6GB and got the call to slow down yesterday. Tell your brother to use tons of data. It would be a 1-800 number that will call him to tell him he used too much.
