Yea if you jailbreak the phone you don't need to install the profile. This way you can download a profile for something else like Siri since you can't have more than one profile on your phone. I simply download tether me ad put the new apn in and I'm set. That's all you have to do

I think I'm going to do this. My dad can get a refurbished iPhone 4 for $35 from his Job. His boss is awesome :D

You have to download something in Cydia to make it work on 3G instead of wifi. I got. 3gvenice. Welcome to te dark side lol. I'm happy people are coming over to straight talk. I used 200mb in 4 days and not a problem yet

Once installed you'll be able to make Facetime calls on 3G. I don't believe it has an icon or a prefrences panel, it's either installed or not installed.

I still haven't "jumped" to the darkside. I installed Redsnow on my computer, but I haven't had the balls to hook up the iphone4. I just got back from the apple store and one person was a dick, another girl was cool. She said just take my time before I buy an unlocked apple phone and search the jailbreak.
I was wondering when you jailbreak and are able to put in the settings, what happens to your itune account?
If I go to Itunes and it notices my device, will it try and update software or settings? Sorry for being such a scarred punk, but like i said, this is all new to me, and I thought by buying a AT&T compatible phone and a straight talk sim, i'd be in the clear. Never thought i'd have to go thru this. I'm greatful that there are sites that have helped me!

I dont understand... you dont need an unlocked phone. A straight talk sim card will work with a normal att iphone out of the box... Just need to change the settings to get the mms and data working to redirect the phone to what it needs. Nothing will be wrong with itunes or anything..
