How To Use Remote.app

    This is one of the most simple Apps to use Ever.

    Get it here: iTunes

    Preparation

    First Step: Make Sure Your iPod Touch / iPhone is connected to the SAME NETWORK as your Computer running iTunes.

    Second Step: Open iTunes.

    Third Step: Run Remote.app

    End of Preparation​



    Process


    You should now see a screen like this on your iPod Touch / iPhone:

    Tap "Add Library" and you should get this screen:

    Once you run the app, WHILE CONNECTED TO YOUR NETWORK. This should show up in iTunes:

    Click That and you should see this screen:

    Once you get that screen, Enter the 4 Digit Code provided by your iPod Touch/iPhone's Remote.app. Once you've done that, you'll get this screen:

    I'm also having trouble running this.... I haven't been able to successfully connect to my computer.

    I enter the code, on the same network, as it is on my iPod's screen.

    Tries to verify the code, and won't.
    Just asks for the code again as if I typed it wrong.

    I'm guessing this only works if you have a WIFI connection.
    I dont have WIFI at work but I am connected to the computer via cable and it does not give me the Ipod link under my device in ITunes.
