    hi

i recently got an ihome ip41 alarm clock to use with my ipod touch 3g.
my question is how do you set it up so that the alarm thats used is music, not the buzzer. i suspect its the same as all other ipod alarm clocks, but i'm not sure.

do you have to set up a playlist? or leave the ipod in sleep mode?
i tried it last night, i turn the ipod off and this morning it made the sound it does when the ipod is connected and turned on, however it used the buzzer instead.

    anyone got any ideas?
    thanks

Yeah, there should be a manual.

there is a manual, though it only tells you how to change the alarm time,

i think i've figured it out, you have to power down the ipod into sleep mode. however, while it charges in the dock, will this have much effect on the batteries life if its not completely turned off?
