Hey, just signed up so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I just bought Hw Browser as it seemed to be a good deal (or so I thought!) - cheap and being able to download files... but after messing around for about an hour I still have no idea how to actually download anything. I've followed all the instructions but time and time again it downloads the webpage and not the actual file.

    Any advice would be appreciated....

    hmm..
I don't know since I do not have that app.

But I guess the only thing I can say is to make sure you have the full address typed in, including the extension.

How does it download mp3s? ... I am intrigued. I thought apple did not allow this.

It downloads everything, apparently. Judging by the reviews the vast majority of people do not know how to work it though... but the people who can work it seem to think it is very good.

So does anyone have any info? Thanks.

Yea, it downloads whatever the link is. Like on BeeMP3 a link will have the actual file download, but somewhere else, the "link" sometimes just ends up being a Firefox Document.

U just have to find the right places to get stuff...BeeMP3, a1own.com, tytube.com....Never go wrong

EDIT: If you don't know how to actually download, hit the the View/DL switch at the top to toggle between downloading links and just viewing normally (like Safari)

Thank you so much!! The problem was the links just being firefox documents. I tried one of the sites you suggested and it worked fine! Thanks a lot man, been trying to work out this for ages.

You can download MP3s via Download Manager, I've just done it. Just click on "Force download next link".
