Too easy. Click restore to 3.1.2 but before do a "security copy" . Don't do 2 threads with the same, don't be stupid.

You will lose jailbrkeak apps and will have to use blackra1n and get it all back. Or us aptbackup from cydia first, upgrade, jailbreak, use aptbackup again.

1.) Before you upgrade, install the app "AptBackUp" off of Cydia.
2.) Launch the app and select "Backup"
3.) Do all the update fun update stuff with apple, let it recover all of your appstore and music.
4.) Use the fairly simple instructions for blackra1n.
5.) When you are jailbroken again, go to cydia and install "AptBackUp" again.
6.) Launch the app and select "restore"

It will re-install all of your cydia apps.

You can also use rock, but I dunno how to do that 100%, and this way worked fine for me.
This app DOES NOT save settings, or save things that cydia apps saved. You'll have to re-customize and optimize to your liking. It just tells cydia exactly what you previously installed, and then cydia re-installs everything.
