iPhone 4 How to unlock iPhone 4 without sim card?

    Hello yesterday my friend got a iPhone 4 and it is LOCKED with Telus i want to unlock it so i can use it with Bell so i can buy it off him how do i do this?

    Any info is greatly appreciated

    You can't just unlock an iPhone at the press of a button. You need some type of hack like Gevey or SAM.

    Google Gevey Sim or Rebel Sim for iPhone. Then see if it supports the baseband your phone is on.

    k so i searched Google about Gevey and Rebel Micro so basically its an Modified Sim Card that you have to purchase in order to UNLOCK your iPhone? is This Correct?

    And is their a way to UNLOCK your iPhone without using a Modified Sim Card?

    Only if the baseband is of the 4.0 OS, don't remember the number, google blacksn0w and see what basebands that supports.

    ok so i am currently on 5.1 so that's a no go right? :(

    did iPhone ever come with 4.0? i thought when they first came out they all had 5.0 pre loaded on them
