    Hey guys!
My main laptop crashed and died... SIGH, it's a pain in the butt and now everytime i want to listen to my music i go oh crap, i have no music on this laptop.. and I really don't want to destroy my bandwith downloading every single song on my iphone :S... and because of this, it means i'll also be unable to upgrade to 4.1 when it comes out =\

anyway, do any of you know of a free method to transfer all my songs (+ vids/photos if possible) from my iPhone 4 to the computer?

    Thanks

If your iPhone is jailbroken, install 'afc2add' from Cydia.

Install iPhoneBrowser or iFunBox on your PC and navigate to the Media /var/mobile/media folder and drag the whole 'iTunes control' folder to your desktop. Wait a while until it has finished copying. Move that folder where you want it on your PC and go to iTunes and 'Add Folder to Library'.

Done. All your songs and Videos back.

I'm pretty sure that it does. I used this when my sister got a new computer. She has an iPod Touch 3rd Gen.

Also, the title of the page is
"How-to: get music, video, and photos off your iPod or iPhone (Windows)"
So you'd assume that it IS for iDevices.

Ok. It just didn't work for me once on my touch, when it worked with a Nano I had.

Ah okay. That's strange because my sister has a 3G touch like you. :S
