I want to transfer my documents, college notes to read it later.

I have come across the following.
www.lexcycle.com stanza which offered to transfer the documents/ebook via USB cable, but in its latest version this feature has been disabled.

    I have tried this also
    www.iphone-explorer.com
    diskaid
    www.i-funbox.com

but I could not get the results that I wanted.

I dont have a wifi router to setup a wifi internet on my computer.
So I am looking for a way to put the documents via USB which was previously offered by stanza.

stanza ipodtouch/iphone is an app available for itunes appstore
stanza desktop is a software which is installed on the PC.

These two softwares synchronize for document transfer.
but due to apples demand transfering the files via usb is not working anymore. This feature has been removed.

So please let me know if you already have a solution.

please give me instructions on how to use iphone explorer.
also if i need a software on the ipod touch.

I WANT TO TRANSFER THE FILES TO IPHONE AND VIEW IT

Its just that i am unable to use it properly.

I read the following instructions on FAQ of WWW.LEXCYCLE.COM

I am not able to figure out how to use iphone explorer for the same job.

If your books are in any format but eReader or epub, then convert your books to epub using Stanza Desktop or Calibre.
Download and install the free "iPhone Explorer" utility from http://www.iphone-explorer.com, which allows you to transfer files over to your iPhone using the USB cable
Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable and launch iPhone Explorer
Click the "Change Root" button and select the "/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/" option.
Click the "New Folder" button rename the new folder "Stanza".
Browse your computer for your books in the ePub or eReader format and drag them onto the "Stanza" folder.
The next time you launch Stanza, all the books in that folder will be automatically imported into Stanza's library (and removed from that folder).
Note: any other software that can transfer files over to the iPhone can be used for this method of transferring books in bulk. When Stanza launches, any files it finds in the folder named "/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/Stanza" will be imported into Stanza. For example, you can use the shareware "DiskAid" software to also transfer files.

ok i have no idea what any of that means soooo this is alot easier
    1.get iphone-explorer
2.if you are not jailbroken..... then get jailbroken
3.go in cydia and download iFile
4.plug in your ipod and open iphone-explorer
5.then import your notes or w.e into any location (recomended somewhere easy to find like var-mobile) and save them as XXXXXXX.txt
    6. get your ipod open iFile find your notes where ever you saved them open it up and there you have it

don't know if that meats your needs but i know that it does for me
