How to tether on your iPhone now!

    Just found this out, however I don't own an iPhone so I can't tell you if this works. However, I did download this on my 2G touch and you can download it directly off your iDevice. Be sure to post if it works!

    • Open safari on your iPhone
    • Go to http://tr.im/oGhq (Case Sensitive) (great time to use the new copy and paste feature!)
    • Scroll down and you will a tethering and internet settings section
    • Tap on Mobileconfigs >Download>
    • Find your country and tap on it
    • Tap on your service provider it should download
    • Go to Settings>>General>>Internet Tethering Bluetooth or USB and activate

    Because you can only use the 3G signal for the internet using this, and iPod Touch doesnt have a 3G signal.

    However, did you get Internet Tethering appear on your iPod Touch, Edin?

    fail.

    It makes it appear in setting, but it doesn't have the option to turn on, iPhone 3g.

    works for me but i used a different method

    i downloaded the mobileconfig file from another website onto my computer, then unzipped it, then emailed it to myself and opened the attachment in my iphone email

    weird. i kinda had a problem with that for a minute. try turning your 3g on and off. if not then reboot your iphone
