Hi im posting this tutorial as an alternative to this one...
    http://www.ifans.com/blog/5498/

Its the same idea/concept, but its an alternative way and with more symbols, alot more.
Credit goes to its original founder(s) but i have found this one myself. If anyone found this before me, then idk what to do because ive never seen them with it. =P All i did was merge that one guys tutorial and these pictures from myspace. lol.

Anyways... this tutorial would work better is its opened in an iphone that way you can click the link and copy and paste. Ok... So lets get started!

    1. Open this in your iphone/ipod touch...

(these are the symbols people put on their myspace names)

    2. The first set of symbols (that are out of order) can NOT be copied. So what you want to do is scroll down and itll show a symbol and a name next to it. These are all the symbols.

    3. If you try to copy the symbol it wont work. So highlight the symbols NAME then select over the symbol then hit copy.

    4. Make your icons wiggle, open the folder you want paste it there then erase the symbols name and keep the symbol itself. then redo if you want more symbols.

    5. Your end result should be like this.

LIKE I SAID BEFORE, THIS IS AN ALTERNATIVE WITH MORE SYMBOLS.
YOU DONT NEED A COMPUTER, OR SEND ANYTHING THROUGH EMAIL.

Nice write up. Not sure why this was needed as it's a pretty simple process that I thought most average people could figure out. But who knows. Anyways, nice writeup, and good use of the pictures.

There used to be a keybaord with all of these symbols, it made it much easier.

It was an addition iKeyEx, someone oughta remake that keybaord for 4.0. I miss it.

This is a cool tutorial too by the way. For my carrier, I only needed to copy and paste the symbols, no need for the words attached.
