How to Stop Lil-USB from messing up Vista

    To avoid messing up vista with lil-usb do the following:

    1.If you previously had lil-usb installed uninstall it.
    2.Download the lil-usb installer or use the old one if you still have it
    3.RIGHT CLICK the installer
    4.Click the "compatibility" tab
    5.Click the "Run this program in compatibilty mode for:" checkbox
    6.Make sure it is set to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"
    7.Click "Apply" and "OK"
    8.Run the installer and install lil-usb
    9.No BSODs or Errors!

    yes, but some computers still get the "no ipod found" error. such as me. it works on my dad's laptop just not my computer possibly because of a usb hub or other problem.
