Well, I am currently very bored and decided to answer a thread I see too often (More then once is too often).

If you don't have MobileTerminal or OpenSSH installed, you're screwed unless you enjoy the eyebrow waxing that is iPhoneBrowser and TotalCommander.

Now, to the good stuff. Open your favorite means to enter commands into your iPod, whether it be MobileTerminal and using your epic Linux skills, WinSCP, Putty, Mac OSX's terminal, or prying your iPod open with a flathead screwdriver, and type the following, while remembering that commands are case sensitive, and all lines all followed by the pressing of return or enter.

    Code:
    su root

    alpine

    apt-get remove cydia

    Yes, do as I say!

    apt-get install cydia

    exit

    killall SpringBoard
Booyahkasha! Wait for it to respring, and then open up Cydia. Make sure to install the essential upgrades next time!

Tell me if you lol'd. It makes me feel proud that I make people laugh.

I had to quote it because I'm on my iPod and can't highlight.

Admit it, the eyebrow waxing and screwdriver parts made you want to laugh.

    *pout*

Did not work for me. I installed MobileTerminal via SSH, because my terminal on winscp just wouldn't work properly. I did everything as written and when I tryied to open Cydia, it did as usual: opened and auto-closed a few seconds later.

    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Type this:

    chmod -R a+rx /Applications/Cydia.app
