how to SSH with Mac

    i used to have a pc and i used WinSCP and everything worked great. but now i just got a mac and have no idea what program to use. i dont really understand the whole terminal thing so any help would be great thanks.

    i also tried searching for this before i made this post but since you have to use 4 letter words i couldnt type in SSH so sorry.

    mmm...BUT can I use Cyberduck to get around the 3rd party application limit?

    Open the terminal in osx then type: ssh root@IPofYourIpod
    Enter the passwort: alpine
    Enter this commands:

    mv /Applications /private/var/Applications
    cd / (there is a space there. Just copy and paste these.)
    ln -s /private/var/Applications Applications
    ls -la

    Thanks for this!!! Worked beautifully with just a copy paste. i then went in with Transmit to check that there indeed was a shortcut to the applications folder where the folder itself used to exist!!
