First thing turn on your wifi after this go to Installer
go to All Packages > Scroll Down to OpenSSH Install it
and install Services to stop wasting battery life.

    Next you will need Winscp

    Winscp

Once Downloaded Click on it and install it

Now on your iTouch go to Setting

Go to Wi-Fi and select your network
after you are connected click on the arrow

    And Write Down your IP

After this go and open WinSCP on your computer

Type in your ip for Host Name ..............

Next Type in for User Name : root
    Now for Password Type: alpine

    Make sure everything is lowercase

are u sure ur IP address is correct and in netservices or the "switch" icon for ssh is turned on?

btw u should go ahead download services, it is a nice utility to have and some of the other apps need it such as apache or the file-download plug-in.

also dragon add to ur guide about services or the ssh icon and how it should be set to on. sorta a core part of the guide there

The package is called OpenSSH, and it is in the System category.

Your first login will say connection refused, but let sit there and it'll work.

After you install OpenSSH, make sure to also install Services, which will let you turn it on and off (SSH kills battery life).
