    Anyone help!!!!!
I thought my ipod touch (2nd generation) is bricked.
I jailbreaked my ipod touch 1 week ago.
now, it just shows up the pineapple all the time and I can not get into the ipod system.
when I plug in the pc, it does not show up in itune or my computer(window).
Then, I try to turn on the DFU (Itune can detect it), but when I restore it, a screen pops up says that I need to get a newest itune (I am running the 8.1 itune).
And when I try to jailbreak it again and restore with "jailbreak file", during the restore process, the connection disappear in itune and causes error. Then stop the installation.
When I turn in "recovery mode", a screen pops up and tell me to install "driver software for my Apple mobile device".
Then I open "computer management". there is a error statue writes "Apple mobile device (recovery mode)".

Does anyone know what is going on with my ipod? and how to solve it?
    Please....., help.
    Thank you

Your ipod is not bricked, just put it into DFU mode, download the firmware off the internet, and shift click restore

what he said. how to put it into DFU mode is in his sig so do that then go to itunes and hold down shift then click restore and go to the location of the firmware you downloaded and double click it. done. if you get an error try a different computer.

EDIT: did i mention download the firmware before going into itunes?

We are not allowed to provide you with the original firmware. The one you would want would be 2.2.1

No we cam't because it is under protective control with apple. If we were allowed to post it, it would be stickied for people who have to restore? Make sense?
